CatGate — Pet to Unlock

By downloading, installing, or using CatGate ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the developer of CatGate.
CatGate is an iOS digital wellness application that uses Apple's Family Controls framework to insert a cat petting interaction when users open selected social media applications. The App is designed to help users build healthier relationships with social media by introducing a moment of playful mindfulness before accessing selected apps.
The App requires Family Controls authorization from iOS. You are responsible for configuring which applications CatGate monitors. CatGate does not modify, interfere with, or access the content of any third-party application.
CatGate offers the following auto-renewing subscription plans, all processed through Apple In-App Purchase and managed by RevenueCat:

Prices are displayed in your local currency by the App Store and may vary slightly due to exchange rates or local taxes. CatGate does not offer a lifetime purchase option. All subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
All payments are processed exclusively through Apple's App Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to Apple's payment terms and conditions. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by going to your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect after the current billing period ends; partial refunds are not provided for unused portions of the current period.
As all payments are processed through Apple, refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple. Apple's refund policies apply. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. CatGate does not process refunds directly and cannot guarantee the outcome of any refund request submitted to Apple.
All content, design, graphics, code, and materials within the CatGate application, including but not limited to the cat character designs, animations, user interface elements, the name "CatGate," and the tagline "Pet to Unlock," are the exclusive intellectual property of the CatGate developer and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the App without prior written permission.
CatGate is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive to provide a reliable and helpful service, we make no warranties or representations, express or implied, regarding:
CatGate is a tool intended to support healthier digital habits and is not a substitute for professional mental health care or medical advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of CatGate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you have paid to us for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Taipei District Court in Taipei, Taiwan.
